After matriculating from Minerva in 199' she studied for a range of certificates as well as Business and Financial management at the University of South Africa (UNISA). In 2'13, she was part of the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) 1' ''' Women Programme.

Maile is part of the Community Development Committee of the Foundation and is a cooking, gym, fashion and travelling fanatic.
