DEPUTY CHAIRPERSON
After the unbanning of the political parties during 199' he became a member of the ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni and was later elected in the leadership of the ANCYL for the East Rand region. In 1993 he served in the Katorus (Katlehong, Thokoza, Vooslorus) Peace Committee, a structure under the Transitional Executive Council responsible for maintaining fair and peaceful elections.
He later became an active member of the Peace Keeping Force and the Youth Development Forum in 1995. In the same year, he became a member of the East Rand Regional Executive Committee and was elected as a Regional Treasury, the following year.
In the year 2''', he decided to leave politics and pursued his interests in the business. Together with a group of young people in Vooslorus, he then established a successful waste management company. He later transitioned into the civil and construction industry and started his own company, which has had extensive experience across South Africa. As a result of his entrepreneurial spirit, he has recently ventured into energy as well as water resources industries.
He will serve the Foundation through the skills Development and Placing Committee which will be responsible for identifying young people who require assistance in skills development and who can be recommended for placing in private companies. Private companies will be engaged in the placing of students for employment opportunities (unemployed graduates).
