Matseke started her career in the then Health Workers Congress in 1989) and then moved to the oil industry, Total SA where she worked in the distribution department.  She later joined the financial services sector, where she held various positions such as manager, government relations & public policy and manager private bank at ABSA and Acan Bank.

Matseke brings financial, business administration and stakeholder relations experience to the Foundation.   She will work on the skills development and placing department of the Foundation.

Matseke holds a diploma in Marketing, diploma in Software-Support and a certificate in New Managers Program from Wits Business School (WBS). Her studies also include business administration, strategic planning, business process analysis and business leadership.

Matseke was appointed a non-executive Chairperson of Alexkor SOC Ltd, the Free State Development Corporation and the Interim Deputy Chairperson of Sedibeng Water.
